{Typical Day} March 29, 2014 | Hugs

March 29, 2014

We all love your hugs, Josiah. You’re so cuddly. You put your head down on everyone you love. All we have to do is say “Hugs??” and you usually will come running. Love it. This morning, you decided that you wanted sister cuddles, your own idea. You just laid right now on top of her for about 10 minutes. So cute.

{Typical Day} March 28, 2014 | Popcorn for Breakfast

March 28, 2014

When Daddy is away on business, we have to do things to break up the monotony, for Momma’s sanity. So today, 6am, I made a big bowl of buttered and powdered sugar popcorn and we ate it in bed while watching cartoons. Josiah, to say  that you liked this popcorn is a major understatment. Every time you ran out (since I can only give you about 5 kernals at a time or you upend it intentionally), you would literally burst into tears until I refilled it.

Mimi used to do movie mornings like this with Tia Kristy and I. Caring on the tradition…

And then, I washed the sheets. 🙂

{Typical Day} March 26, 2014 | Disney with Tia

March 26, 2014

This was a fun day, but a tiring day. We did Disney with two little kids and a pregnant lady and no men. We love our men. Daddy and Tio and Papi, none of them could be with us this time. In addition to missing their faces and their company, we missed their muscles. We wouldn’t survive the lines without that baby leash. Josiah, you are busy, busy. But we discovered the dual use of the leash on this trip. When you’ve had it and are finally spent, you can just lay down on top of it and use it as a pillow.

We all took turns carrying you, holding the leash, chasing you down and corralling you (the last two referring to you, Josiah.) I was physically sore the next day. But it was still Disney, and this time we got to enjoy it with Tia Kristy (who you love and wouldn’t let go of all day long, Adela) and the bundle in belly who will make me a Tia and you guys cousins. We are so very excited to meet him or her. I’m guessing boy, but I’m outnumbered by the rest of the family, including Adela, who claims she’s a girl. We’ll find out soon enough.
