Granny and Grandpa have been here all week. We love having them here. They love you both so much! Today we all sat outside and watched you guys get wet in a tiny little blow up pool and squirt yourselves in the faces with squirt bottles. Why you both think that is something fun to do, we don’t know. But it’s sure cute to watch!
I came upstairs today and found you exactly like this. My high fashion girl knows how to accessorize.
The first pool day of the year, and ‘Siah’s first time in water wings! The perks of living in the desert in the Spring. It’s gorgeous out. Sometimes it still wards me out that you kids will likely grow up with this weather in this climate, and it will be your normal. I was lucky if I got to swim in August, and even then, it was probably liable to drizzle at any moment. 🙂

Today was your preschool Easter Egg hunt and Daddy and ‘Siah got to come with us. This was obviously my first time seeing something like this and I had no idea what to expect. They took us up to the football field which was absolutely covered in colorful eggs. They lined you all up on the sideline, blew the whistle, and watched you all run. So fun! There was also a hardboiled egg toss which you and Elizabeth modified (after too many eggs getting too near the face, haha) to an egg *roll*, a bubble station, and a bouncy house. One of these days I need to get a photo with you and your teachers and your preschool director. They’re all fabulous!
