Adela shared her brand new Princess Castle, even though Josiah is a little tyrant and constantly throws the pieces while laughing manically. Adela, you are seriously the MOST patient big sister ever. Josiah hugged Adela, a lot. It’s how you say sorry, and you do it very well.
Christmas Activity Advent Day #8 – Build a Gingerbread House!
21st percentile for weight. 35th for height. Dr. Brugh told me to stop stressing so much about getting you to eat. You’re healthy, happy and meeting/exceeding all milestones. You’re also up to date with all your vaccines for now. We’ve done a conservative schedule for you like we did with your sister, but I still get nervous every time. It’s one of those hard parenting decisions. But now that it’s done, I’m glad you’ve made it past 2 and are fully immunized without any negative consequences.
Christmas Activity Advent Day #7 – Host a special Birthday Tea Party to celebrate turning 5 this week!
We celebrated your birthday in Disneyland as a family, but we also wanted to give you a little party. I had the idea to make it a tea party since you are super into that sort of thing right now. I meant for it to be simple. It turned out to be a little more involved. But you had a great time, so it was worth it. We invited your “best friend” from school and the two of you helped me bake and decorate mini cupcakes, let me curl your hair, got ready for tea (as you so chose) in our makeshift lady’s dressing room, and then showed up dressed for your party.
