{Typical Day} November 7, 2014 | Chore Chart

Giving the chore chart another try. I haven’t been great about enforcing it. I want to start giving you weekly allowance for doing small tasks around the house, but this is more of a desire than a reality at this point. We’re working on it. Jeffrey is almost 14 years old now. I haven’t taken a picture of him in a while. He’s still around. He loves laying in walkways and on any article of clothing, especially any article of MY clothing. He’s a good boy, and he puts up with Josiah’s antics.

{Typical Day} November 5, 2014 | TeeTee

Josiah, you gave up your binky. Just like that. You whined for it for about 3 minutes the first time we put you down for a nap without it. You asked about it for about 3 days. And that was it. I just kept telling you, “Binky went bye bye. ‘Siah’s a big boy now.” And then I’d let you look in the basket where you know we kept them. You’re look in the basket and mournfully look at me and say, “Binky all gone.” We were prepared for a battle, and you didn’t even give us a tussle. What a blessing that it was so easy. Thank goodness you still have your blanky, your “TeeTee.” I’m fine with you hanging onto those sweet threads for now. We have time before you head off to college yet.
