Today was your first real outing to a park. Daddy and I took you down to Palm Springs and we park hopped for a few hours. It It You had your first official visit to the park today, know that you’re old enough to actually interact. Daddy and I took you down to Palm Spring and we park hopped for several hours, just following the GPS to whatever park was the next closest. It was a fun adventure and a great day.
Daddy tried to teach you to be gentle with the flowers.
And held your hand while you practiced walking. You’re getting really close these days. Look at you holding onto only one of Daddy’s fingers.
I asked you to give me a kiss in this series, and you laid it on me. You don’t know how to close your lips yet, so sometimes your kisses are a little toothy. But I don’t mind. Your kisses are so sweet.
You picked up every stray bit of anything you saw on the ground. It took considerable effort to prevent you from eating bits of candy wrappers and cigarette butts. You’re smiling in this picture because I was telling you that the wrapper you’re holding is yucky, bleck! 🙂
We let you grass stain your pants and crawl around in the grass.
And you saw your first water fountain. You were pretty impressed. Little do you know that we’ll be running around in it next time we visit. Summer is only a few months away!
