During our annual visit to the pumpkin patch we attempted the traditional photo of the two of you in a wagon in the pumpkin patch smiling and looking at the camera (failed, but got some other cute ones), enjoyed Mimi’s first full day back in California (we missed her!), took pony rides (Jo’s first), and waited in a long line 4-wheeler-train with an amazingly patient 2-year-old holding his tickets and saying “peeeas? peeeeas?? me too?” over and over again. Josiah, you loved it! It was worth the trip just to hear you say “wheeeeee!” while we rode all through the corn fields. Mimi even managed to get a good family photo of the four of us together, the impossible accomplished thanks to her perseverance and the aid of a passing family who helped get you kids looking at the camera with their smiles and waves. It was a good night!
