Life is moving so fast these days. Our second child will be making his debut in somewhere around 2 months. This pregnancy has gone by at lightning speed. I can’t believe that I’ll be meeting this little boy in a matter of what can now be counted on my fingers in weeks. As busy as life is and as quickly as the time goes, I wanted to take a few quiet moments and commemorate my son at 30 weeks with a few self-portraits.<\/p>\n

Self-portraits are a hobby of mine because I think it’s a bummer than I have so few photos of my mom and I together during my childhood. I have a ton of photos of myself and the rest of our family since my mom was great about pulling out the Kodak, but she rarely handed the camera to anyone else. I’m so grateful for the photos I do have of my mom, but I wish there were more. I feel like I’m missing out on a part of my history because my mom was and is such an important and loved person in my life. So when I can’t hand the camera to someone else, I use a tripod and a remote. I want my kids to have these memories as much as I want to have them for myself.<\/p>\n
