I’m from Seattle (the suburbs of), and I lucky for me, even though I’ve moved to the great state of California and now enjoy the perks of living in this sunny state, I still get to go home and visit my family in the Evergreen state. It really is the best of both worlds. Even better than getting to visit the great Northwest is getting to visit with my family while I’m there, especially when my family happens to be my little sister when she’s expecting her first baby! This was well over a year ago now (yes, I’m that behind.) My little nephew just celebrated his first birthday. Here’s a look back when he was still just possibilities and happy mysteries. There are still plenty of surprises to come, but now he has a name and a face and a personality. Pictures are wonderful, aren’t they? It’s fun to look forward. It’s fun to look back.
